"Sulky: A Journey Through Expressions of Discontent and Petulance" In the year 1914, amidst the vibrant atmosphere of horse trotting races at Hipodromo in Sant Lluis, Mahon, Menorca, a peculiar sight caught the attention of onlookers. The image captured was that of "Trotting with Sulky, " an intriguing portrayal of a sulking individual who seemed to be carrying their discontentment like a burden. Delving deeper into history, we stumble upon "Mlle. Mou-Mou" created by Marcellin-Gilbert Desboutin in 1880.
