There are six pieces in total: The Old Sword (a march), Cap & Bells (scherzino or little scherzo), Grandmother's Crinoline (minuet), A Love Letter, Mandoline, and Domino (air de ballet). Two children, a girl and a boy, are depicted looking through the contents of the chest. Date: early 20th century

The Merry Family': Dutch interior showing a family making music round a table covered in a carpet and a cloth with the remains of a meal. Even the dog seems to be joining in. The patriarch puts his instrument aside and raises his glass in a toast. The women next him are singing from a sheet of music which the bagpiper behind them is following. Young man plays a flute and boy smoking a clay pipe in the window holds a horn. Jan Steen (1626-1679) Dutch painter.
