Steam-driven fire engine with crew -- SDFB, Southgate District Council fire service. The date on the vehicle is 1894. The driver standing on the appliance is D Gibbons. Third from right is G Walton. The officer on the right is Jack Horn, killed in a munitions explosion in 1918. The vehicle eventually went to the Science Museum in South Kensington.
