A fisherman holds a sea cucumber at Sinabang district in Simeulue Island, Indonesia's Aceh province January 11, 2012. A group of fishermen, using a wooden boat and an air compressor, hunt for sea cucumbers and lobsters. They earn between 600,000 rupiah ($65) and one million rupiah ($109) a day. After the sea cucumbers are processed, they are first sent to Medan, capital of North Sumatra province, and then exported to Singapore and China. Many youths in Simeulue Island turn to the profession of a sea cucumber hunter with its rising demand. Sea cucumber is popular in many Asian countries as a delicacy and for its medicinal purpose.
