S Maria ad Martyres, also known as the Pantheon, is a magnificent architectural marvel located in Rome, Italy. Constructed around 1857 by Robert MacPherson, this iconic structure has stood the test of time and continues to captivate visitors from all over the world. The Pantheon's grandeur can be fully appreciated through various artistic depictions throughout history. In 1553, an anonymous artist created a stunning reconstruction of the Pantheon, showcasing its intricate interior with a cutaway view. This elevation was further reconstructed to its original form in 1549 by another anonymous creator. The beauty of Rome and its landmarks have inspired many artists over centuries. A French unknown artist crafted Scenes of Rome Furnishing Fabric around 1815, capturing the essence of this historic city on fabric. Giulio de Musi provided us with a breathtaking Birds Eye View of Rome in 1553 that allows us to admire the magnificence from above. Giovanni Paolo Panini's c. 1734 painting takes us inside the Pantheon itself, revealing its awe-inspiring interior filled with light and architectural wonders. Eugene Constant's Panteon artwork from 1848-52 showcases another perspective on this remarkable structure. Throughout history, numerous prints have been made depicting different aspects of ancient Rome and specifically highlighting S Maria ad Martyres or The Pantheon itself. Nicolas Beatrizet's Speculum Romanae Magnificentiae series includes an exquisite portrayal from 1649 while an anonymous artist contributed one during the sixteenth century. Even fan designs incorporated elements such as The Pantheon and Colosseum during the eighteenth century when Anon created Fan Design with these iconic structures. In more recent times like in 1910s Roma - Interior of the Pantheon photograph shows how it transformed into S Maria ad Martyres church without losing any bit if its charm.
