Robert Lewis, a name synonymous with speed and endurance, has left an indelible mark on the world of motorsports. With his unwavering passion for racing, it has etched his legacy in the annals of Le Mans history. In 1908, CM29 1908 witnessed Robert Lewis's debut at Le Mans behind the wheel of a Lagonda V12. The roar of the engine echoed through the track as he fearlessly navigated every turn and straightaway. His determination was unmatched as he pushed himself to new limits. The following year, CM27 7187 saw Robert Lewis return to Le Mans once again piloting a Lagonda V12. This time around, he displayed impeccable teamwork alongside Richard Guy in their Jaguar D type (CM27 6345). Together they formed an unstoppable force on the racetrack, leaving spectators awestruck by their synchronized maneuvers. Continuing his love affair with Lagonda V12s, CM23 3435 and CM23 3500 showcased Robert Lewis's mastery over these powerful machines. With each race, he honed his skills further and solidified his reputation as one of the finest drivers in history. However, it wasn't just vintage cars that captured Robert Lewis's heart; he also ventured into modern racing with a Ford Focus ST170 (CM21 6142). Demonstrating adaptability across different eras and vehicles only added to his legend. Throughout it all, Lagonda V12s remained close to Robert Lewis's heart. From CM9 4180 to CM9 4167 and even CM7 5555 - each race was another opportunity for him to showcase why this iconic car had become synonymous with his name. But perhaps one of his most memorable moments came during CM3 5658 when Robert Lewis took on both a Lagonda V12 Le Mans and an MG6702 simultaneously.
