The Robert Brooks Trophy: A Celebration of Classic Racing Legends In the world of classic racing, few trophies hold as much prestige and history as the Robert Brooks Trophy. Named after the renowned auctioneer and motorsport enthusiast, this trophy is a symbol of excellence and passion for vintage cars. At the CM32 7330 event, Ian Dalglish showcased his remarkable skills behind the wheel of a Lotus Climax 17. The roar of its engine echoed through the track as he maneuvered with precision and grace, leaving spectators in awe. John Clark's Cooper Climax T39 Bobtail was another sight to behold at CM32 7359. Its sleek design combined with Clark's expertise created an unstoppable force on the racetrack. The crowd couldn't help but cheer as he sped past them effortlessly. Rainer Becker proved his mettle in a Porsche 550 Spyder at CM32 7328. This iconic car left a trail of dust in its wake as Becker fearlessly pushed it to its limits, showcasing both power and finesse. Tim Bailey's Cooper Climax T39 Bobtail (CM32 6802) also made quite an impression on race day. With every turn and acceleration, Bailey demonstrated why this car is considered a true gem among vintage enthusiasts. Andrea Stortoni took everyone by surprise at CM32 6751 with his impressive performance in a Lotus Eleven. The combination of speed and agility displayed by Stortoni left no doubt about his mastery over this classic beauty. Nick Finburgh's Lotus Climax MK1 (CM32 6742) was yet another testament to the timeless appeal of these vintage vehicles. Finburgh skillfully navigated each corner, proving that age does not diminish talent or passion for racing. Paul Steed wowed spectators at CM32 6733 with his Buckler DD1 prowess.
