Picture a Mini patiently waiting for its tank to be replenished; a humble reminder that even everyday vehicles require occasional nourishment. Traveling back even further in time takes us to Lawrence's garage in Brixton, London circa 1924. Though captured by an unknown creator, this snapshot showcases early efforts towards efficient fuel distribution – a glimpse into how far we've come since then. Fast forward once more to Sports Cars 1956: Reims 12 Hours race where sleek machines roared across tracks with determination. Refuelling stations stood ready like lifelines amidst intense competition – offering precious seconds gained or lost depending on efficiency and precision. The International Championship for Makes brought forth another memorable moment at Daytona's grueling endurance race in 1968.
