The Soldiers and Sailors Buffet at Victoria Station
Impression of a crowded scene at Victoria Station as men arriving on the leave train, or else departing for the Front, are given free refreshments from the Soldiers and Sailors Free Buffet. These buffets were run by volunteers and funded through charitable donations. Men would enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, sandwiches and cake.
