Historians have banded together to produce a new display for Preston Hall Museum's atmospheric period street. A gent's hat shop front has just been added to the row of Victorian shops in the cobbled street. The museum has been able to mount the display of hats that were fashionable between the 1890's and 1920's thanks to a donation from the Winpenny family, who owned the traditional gents outfitters in Stockton. Here, Catherine Rennison of Hartburn, shows two of the hats on display. 11th April 1983
