Plantae is a kingdom of organisms that includes all plants, from the smallest mosses to the tallest trees. Plants are multicellular eukaryotes, meaning they have cells with a nucleus and membrane-bound organelles, and are autotrophs, meaning they produce their own food through photosynthesis. Plants also have cell walls made of cellulose and other complex carbohydrates which give them structure and strength. Most plants need sunlight, water, carbon dioxide and certain minerals in order to survive and grow.
