Peter Thompson is a man of many adventures, exploring the hidden gems of England and Scotland. From the tranquil Meare in Thorpeness, Suffolk to the picturesque Snape in Suffolk, he has immersed himself in the beauty of these locations. Captivated by history, Peter has wandered through the late 14th-century Cloisters of Gloucester Cathedral and paid his respects at The Cenotaph on Whitehall, London. Not one to shy away from sportsmanship, Peter joined Liverpool football team for a Pre-Wembley photo call at Anfield. His love for heritage extends beyond buildings as he hopped onto a tram at Beamish Museum in Stanley, County Durham, experiencing life from another era. Venturing further north into Scotland's stunning landscapes, Peter discovered Rob Roy's grave at Balquhidder Parish Church in Stirling. He marveled at the breathtaking views of Applecross Peninsula and Loch Kishorn in Highland before delving into Wharram Percy's historical ruins in North Yorkshire. But it was perhaps aboard The Coniston Gondola on Lake District's serene waters that Peter found true tranquility. And let us not forget his visit to Levant Mine in Cornwall where he witnessed firsthand the rich mining history that shaped communities. An explorer who embraces both natural wonders and cultural treasures with equal enthusiasm. His journey across England and Scotland showcases his passion for discovery and appreciation for our diverse world.
