Mr T Cope, who at 80 years of age has just been awarded the Royal Humane Society certificate on vellum for saving a boy from drowning in a deep canal at Braunstone, Rugby. He plunged into the water fully dressed. This is the eighth rescue Mr Cope has effected in a similar way.
