Tommy Milligan, a Scottish welter/middleweight boxer, was a force to be reckoned with in the ring. His skill and determination were showcased at various events throughout his career. In 1965, Tommy had the honor of performing at the prestigious Royal Variety Performance. The crowd was captivated by his lightning-fast punches and impressive footwork. Not only did Tommy excel in boxing, but he also showed immense bravery during the presentation of colors to the 2nd Bn, 15th Punjab Regiment. His unwavering commitment to serving his country was truly commendable. Outside of boxing, Tommy enjoyed celebrating life's joyful moments. He could be seen cutting into a magnificent wedding cake alongside his beloved wife Mary. Their love and happiness radiated through every slice. Family played an important role in Tommy's life as well. Kate Milligan stood proudly beside him on many occasions, supporting her husband's endeavors both inside and outside of the ring. Mary it also shared in this support system, always cheering him on from ringside. Sports brought out another side of Tommy's talents as he joined forces with Cumberland County Football Team. Together they formed an unstoppable team that left their opponents astounded by their skills on the field. One memorable moment captured Spike Milligan at Beaulieu in 1968; although unrelated to Tommy directly, it showcases how talent runs deep within the Milligan family tree. As each fight approached at Olympia Stadium, there was an air of excitement surrounding Tommy as he prepared for battle against formidable opponents. The anticipation grew as fans eagerly awaited another display of his incredible athleticism and fighting spirit. Through all these snapshots into Tommy's life journey, one thing remains clear - family is everything to him. Whether it is Kate or Mary by his side or capturing precious memories together off-camera; they are pillars of strength that fuel his passion for success both inside and outside the ring.
