In 1978, Dave Hickman showcased his skills at the Junior TT, leaving spectators in awe of his speed and precision. Mick Grice also made a name for himself in 1975 during the Lightweight Manx Grand Prix, proving that Maxton Yamaha was a force to be reckoned with. Richard Swallow continued the legacy in 1977 by dominating the Lightweight Manx Grand Prix on his Maxton Yamaha machine. The Celtic Match Races held at Jurby Airfield in 1976 saw thrilling battles between top riders, further cementing Maxton Yamaha's reputation as a powerhouse. Jim Binnie and Mick Grice once again displayed their prowess at the Lightweight Manx Grand Prix in 1975. Their exceptional performances left no doubt about Maxton Yamaha's commitment to excellence. In 1984, John Mould returned to claim victory once again at the Junior Manx Grand Prix aboard his trusty Maxton Yamaha machine. Keith Trubshaw joined this illustrious list by triumphing at the Junior Manx Grand Prix of 1979.
