Magnoliophyta, also known as flowering plants, are a division of the plant kingdom, and are the most diverse and abundant group of land plants on Earth. Magnoliophyta contain over 250,000 species divided into 12 classes including monocots and dicots. These plants have specialized reproductive organs called flowers that produce seeds for reproduction. The majority of magnoliophytes rely on pollinators such as bees or birds to spread their pollen from flower to flower in order to reproduce.
