Macedonia is a small country located in the Balkan region of Europe, and is bordered by Greece to the south, Bulgaria to the east, Albania and Kosovo to the west, and Serbia and Montenegro to the north. The capital city is Skopje. The official language is Macedonian, although Albanian and Turkish are also widely spoken. A rich cultural heritage that includes ancient Greek ruins, medieval monasteries, Ottoman mosques and churches from different religions.
