"Lith de Godard à Paris" was a series of lithographs published in 1860, showcasing various architectural wonders across France. The collection includes Pl. 43, featuring an ancient house in Toulouse (Haute-Garonne), captured by an unknown creator. Another notable piece is Pl. 28, which displays the magnificent Chateau De La Verdiere in Ille en Vilaine, also published in 1860. Victor Petit, a talented French artist from the same era, contributed several pieces to this collection as well. Pl. 29 presents the enchanting Chateau De La Bouverie located in Sarthe while Pl. 77 showcases Le Mesnil's picturesque landscape found in Correze. Tour Du Prieure De St. Nicolas-Au-Bois (Aisne) takes center stage on Pl. 44 and was skillfully crafted by Victor Petit himself. Additionally, Petit's talent shines through on Pl. 42 with his depiction of Tour De L'Horloge De St. Fargeau situated in Yonne. The religious architecture is not forgotten within this compilation either; Pls. 40 and 39 feature Eglise Des Penitents A Avignon (Vaucluse) and Chateau De La Motte (Mayenne), respectively - both brought to life by Victor Petit's artistic touch. Placing emphasis on historical structures are two more works by Victor Petit: Ancienne Porte Du Chateau De Malmort (Correze) displayed on Plate 6 and Ruines de l'Eglise de St. Aubert (Haute-Marne) showcased on Plate38. Lastly, we have Plate75 presenting the captivating scenery of La Vicomte (Saone et Loire), once again masterfully created by Victor Petit himself.
