"From Grand Prix to DIY Mechanics: The Many Tales of the Kerb" Flashback to the thrilling 1981 Argentinian GP, where drivers skillfully maneuvered around the kerbs, pushing their limits for victory. Amidst the racing excitement, street accordionists added a touch of musical charm to the atmosphere during the same event. Fast forward to the glamorous 1989 Monaco Grand Prix, where kerbs became an integral part of every driver's strategy on this iconic street circuit. In Eccles, Manchester, a determined DIY mechanic fearlessly tackled car repairs on his own while balancing precariously on a kerb. John More & Sons' Quarry Masters in Airdrie caught attention with their eye-catching advert displayed right next to a busy kerb. The intense action continued at the 1994 Italian GP as drivers navigated through chicanes and over kerbs in pursuit of victory. Rounds 7 and 8 at Brands Hatch showcased drivers skillfully hugging tight corners and bouncing off kerbs for that extra speed advantage. On Foxhill Road in Eccles, a young girl found solace sitting on a quiet kerb, lost in her own thoughts amidst bustling surroundings. An unfortunate accident left one man examining his damaged car near a familiar urban kerb – reminding us that even vehicles need care too. Two children happily played on Balham's pavement while carefully avoiding stepping onto nearby road-facing kerbs – safety first. Dolls became cherished companions for girls playing together in Balham streets; their imaginative adventures unfolding beside colourful painted kerbsides. As protests raged against extradition bills in Sham Shui Po, an abandoned umbrella stood alone by a defiantly painted yellow-and-black striped kerb - symbolizing resilience amidst chaos.
