The Storming of the Bastille on July 14, 1789, became an iconic event that symbolized the people's revolt against oppression. Paintings such as "The Storming of the Bastille" by Thevenin and an anonymous artist captured the intensity and determination displayed by those who sought to dismantle tyranny.
