Ingeborg Kober, also known as Ingeborg of Denmark, Queen of Norway, played a significant role in the Royal Wedding of 1896. As one of the three bridesmaids, she added grace and elegance to the grand occasion. Her beauty was often compared to that of Frithjof bei Konig Ring, depicted in an enchanting engraving from the 13th century. Just like the king and courtiers in this battle scene, Ingeborg possessed strength and resilience. Tragedy struck when Hjalmar bid farewell to Orvar-Oddr after the Battle of Samso in 1866. The creator Winge captured their emotional parting beautifully. It was during this time that Orvar-Oddr had to inform Ingeborg about Hjalmar's untimely death in 1859. Frithjof and Ingeborg shared a deep connection akin to Princess Margaretha of Sweden's love for her people. Their story inspired August MalmstrAom's masterpiece "Frithiof Ingeborg Frithiofs saga. " In another realm altogether were the princesses of Oldenburg - daughters of Frederick Augustus II, Grand Duke of Oldenburg. They exuded regal charm just like their father who ruled from 1852-1931 alongside his wife.
