In 1991 at the Southern 100, Marriner teamed up with Pallister to compete on a Yamaha bike, showcasing their exceptional skills and determination. Their partnership continued in 1993 at the Sidecar TT race where they once again rode a Yamaha bike and demonstrated their ability to navigate challenging terrains with precision. Marriner's versatility was evident when he joined forces with Collonge in 2009 for the Pre TT Classic event. Riding a powerful BSA machine, they showcased their expertise and passion for speed. The Triumph brand became synonymous with Marriner's name throughout his career. In both the 2007 and 2012 Pre TT Classic races, he partnered with Pallister to ride Triumph spl bikes. Their performances were nothing short of spectacular as they pushed boundaries and set new standards for excellence. Not one to rest on his laurels, Marriner embraced innovation by teaming up with NRE Triumph in the 2013 Pre TT Classic race. This collaboration allowed him to showcase his adaptability while maintaining his unwavering commitment to success.
