In 2000, partnering with Neil Carpenter under DMR Yamaha's banner proved fruitful as they conquered all obstacles en route to victory at the Sidecar TT. Not limited solely to Isle of Man events, Ian also excelled at other prestigious races such as Southern 100. In 2012, together with Carl Bell on an LCR Yamaha bike; they showcased their skills by clinching first place in this highly competitive event. Bell's legacy extends beyond individual achievements.
