"Goro Soga no" is a captivating series of artworks created by Torii Kiyonobu II, Torii Kiyotomo, and other renowned artists during the 18th century. These stunning pieces depict various actors portraying the iconic character of Soga no Goro in different plays. In one artwork from 1744, we see Ichikawa Ebizo II as Musashibo Benkei and Sakata Shintaro as Soga no Goro. The intense expressions on their faces convey the dramatic tension of the scene. Another piece from 1746 showcases Otani Oniji I as Soga no Goro alongside Sanogawa Ichimatsu I as Yoshina's sister.
