Throughout his illustrious career, he left an indelible mark on the sport, showcasing his exceptional skills and unwavering determination. From thrilling victories to heart-stopping races, Pantall's journey is one for the books. In 1965, young and ambitious Gordon Pantall made his debut at the Junior Manx Grand Prix astride an AJS bike. It was here that he first caught the attention of enthusiasts with his fearless riding style and innate talent. The following year, he switched to Matchless and continued to impress by securing podium finishes at both the Senior Manx Grand Prix and Junior Manx Grand Prix. Pantall's triumphs didn't stop there; they only grew more impressive as time went on. In 1967, he dominated once again in the Senior Manx Grand Prix aboard a Norton machine. This victory solidified him as a force to be reckoned with on this challenging circuit. The years that followed saw Pantall conquer various races across different categories. He showcased his versatility by claiming victory in both Production TT events – first in 1970 riding Yamaha and then again in 1976 astride Kawasaki machinery. These wins demonstrated not only his adaptability but also his ability to extract maximum performance from any bike he rode. Pantall's passion for racing never waned throughout his career; it burned brighter than ever before. In 1968, he returned to compete at the Senior Manx Grand Prix riding Matchless once again – proving that lightning can strike twice when it comes to success on this demanding course. His dedication paid off yet again when he clinched victory at the prestigious Classic TT event in 1975 while representing TWS Suzuki team - a testament to his enduring skill and determination.
