Gobio gobio, also known as the Gudgeon, is a small freshwater fish species found in Europe. It belongs to the family of Cyprinidae and is closely related to other fish varieties such as Eurasian Ruffe, Millers Thumb, European Bullhead (Cottus gobio), Danube gudgeon, crucian carp, and bream.
