The Flower Market Of The Madeleine by Blampied

An illustration by Edmund Blampied of a bustling flower market at the Place de la Madeleine in Paris. Blampied (1886-1966) drew countless illustrations for the ILN magazines. As well as scenes of typical London life for The Illustrated London News, he produced a number of colour pictures for The Bystander featuring the glamorous and privileged classes at fashionable resorts around the world
