Amidst the bustling harbor of St. Ives, Cornwall, in the Early 1900s, three Greater Manchester schoolboys, John, Paul, and George, answer an unexpected call to international duty. They leave behind their textbooks and soccer fields to join the local pilchard seining crews of Porthminster.
