Meanwhile, Old Towngate in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire stood as a testament to the enduring presence of wheat or bread wheat (Triticum vulgare) in our lives. The legacy continued with Cranfield Brothers Ltd Flour Millers' charabanc outing - an exciting adventure that showcased their dedication to quality and craftsmanship. Across continents, from Nigeria's Yoruba Grocer to Dakshin Kali in Nepal, women skillfully transformed flour into delicious chapatis and other traditional delicacies. Across the Atlantic Ocean, The Croton Flour Mills of George V. Hecker & Co. Became synonymous with excellence in New York City. Their range of bakery tools and ingredients revolutionized baking for generations. In 1947, an older woman's hands expertly kneaded dough as she prepared mouthwatering treats for her loved ones - a heartwarming scene that captured the essence of home baking.
