The FIA Sportscar Championship brought together some of the most talented drivers and teams in the world of motorsports. Jan Lammers, racing for Holland Dome S101 Judd, emerged victorious in a thrilling race that had fans on the edge of their seats. However, it was not an easy win for Lammers as he faced tough competition from Alex Caffi, Gianfranco Trombetti, and Enrico Muscioni in their Promec PJ119 Peugeot. The trio put up a strong fight and finished in an impressive second place. Unfortunately, Andy Wallace's RN Motorsport DBA4-03S suffered a setback during the race when it retired due to gearbox failure. It was a disappointing end for Wallace and his team but they showed great determination throughout. The race winners were none other than John Bosch and Jan Lammers representing Racing For Holland. Their skillful driving and teamwork paid off as they crossed the finish line first amidst cheers from the crowd. Hayanari Shimoda of RN Motorsport DBA4-03S showcased his talent by leading at the rolling start at Donington Park. His performance was commendable but luck wasn't on his side as he also retired from the race due to gearbox failure. Justin Keen and Phil Andrews of Taurus Sports Lola B2K/10 Judd faced disappointment when they failed to finish. Despite their best efforts, luck didn't favor them this time around. Marc Rostan and Pierre Bruneau piloted PiR Pilbeam MP84 Nissan to a respectable seventh-place finish while Massimo Saccomanno, Fabio Mancini, and Gianni Collini secured fourth place with Lucchini Alfa Romeo. Stephane Sarrazin and Franck Lagorce encountered difficulties with their Pescarolo Sport Courage C60 Evo which led to them failing to finish the race. It was undoubtedly frustrating for both drivers who had high hopes for a successful outcome.
