The Ring Magnet
The front cover of "The Sphere" magazine, 16 April 1927, featuring the latest innovation in eye-care. Factory workers suffering from metal filings flicked in to their eye can now have them removed by means of the new "Ring Magnet". The procedure seen here is being carried out by Sir Richard Cruise, Oculist to the King, at Westminster Hall.
