In 1990, Doug Jewell teamed up with Derek Rumble to compete in the Sidecar TT event aboard a powerful Rumble Yamaha. Their performance was nothing short of remarkable, setting the stage for Jewell's future successes. Over the years, Jewell continued to push boundaries alongside talented partners. In 1994, he joined forces with Lars Schwartz to ride an LGMV Yamaha at the Sidecar TT race. The duo displayed incredible teamwork and skill as they navigated through challenging terrains. The year 1995 saw another impressive collaboration between Doug Jewell and Lars Schwartz. This time riding an LGMV Ireson Yamaha combination at the Sidecar TT event. Their synchronized movements and impeccable timing left spectators in awe. Jewell's partnership with Kenny Howles proved to be particularly fruitful during their time together on multiple occasions. In 1999, they rode an Ireson Mistral sidecar at the prestigious Sidecar TT race - a testament to their shared passion for speed and precision. Their success continued into 2002 when they raced together on an Ireson Yamaha combination at the Sidecar TT event once again. The dynamic duo demonstrated unparalleled teamwork as they tackled every twist and turn that came their way. In 2003 and 2004 respectively, Howles and Jewell competed on ARC Ireson Yamahas at two consecutive Sidecar TT races – showcasing their ability to consistently perform under pressure while pushing themselves beyond limits.
