The following year, he continued to dominate the competition at the Lightweight Manx Grand Prix on another Yamaha. Not one to rest on his laurels, Derek switched gears and rode a Kawasaki in 1990 for the Supersport 400 TT race. In 2009, he conquered the Senior Manx Grand Prix aboard a Yamaha - a true testament to his unwavering dedication and skill. One of Derek's most memorable victories came in 2014 when he raced on a Honda during the 350 Classic TT event.
