Kennedy, to his vibrant presence alongside his beloved wife Jacqueline and Texas Governor John Connally in an open car ride through Dallas, Texas - these photographs serve as poignant reminders of a nation forever changed. Traveling back further in time, an 1895 American cartoon by F. Victor Gillam sheds light on the Venezuelan Boundary Dispute during President Grover Cleveland's administration. The cartoon suggests that attention was lacking towards British encroachment, highlighting political tensions and diplomatic challenges faced by leaders at that time. Moving forward to another pivotal moment in American history, we witness Secretary of State William H. Seward and President Andrew Johnson preparing for a heated term with Alaska's purchase depicted humorously as hauling a large chunk of Alaskan ice to cool congressional tempers.
