Dave Molyneux, a legendary figure in the world of sidecar racing, has left an indelible mark on the sport with his remarkable achievements. From his early days to recent triumphs, Molyneux's career is filled with thrilling moments and unforgettable partnerships. In 1985, Molyneux teamed up with Paul Craine on a Bregazzi Yamaha for the Sidecar TT race. This marked the beginning of a journey that would see him become one of the most successful sidecar racers in history. Three years later, he joined forces with Alan Langton on a Yamaha and showcased his exceptional skills at the Sidecar TT once again. Molyneux's first taste of victory came in 1989 when he clinched his maiden win at the Sidecar race A during the TT event. This triumph was just a glimpse of what was to come as he continued to dominate races throughout his illustrious career. Over the years, Molyneux formed formidable partnerships that propelled him to greater heights. In 1994, alongside Peter Hill on a DMR machine, they conquered all challenges thrown their way at the Sidecar TT. Another memorable collaboration took place in 1999 when Molyneux joined forces with an unnamed partner riding for DMR Honda and emerged victorious at Southern 100. One name that frequently appears alongside Dave Molyneux is Dan Sayle - together they achieved numerous victories and set records that still stand today. Their Suzuki DMR combination proved unbeatable in 2009 during Jurby Road race and again in 2023 when they raced under KTM colors at Sidecar TT. However, it was not only Sayle who shared success with Molyneux; Patrick Farrance also played an integral role in their partnership over several years. Together they rode various machines including Kawasaki and Honda under DMR banner. Their collaboration resulted in multiple wins, including a memorable triumph at the Sidecar TT in 2013.
