Partnering with various talented co-drivers, he left an indelible impression on the prestigious Sidecar TT races. In 1972, alongside D L Walton, Dave showcased his skills aboard a UBCS Triumph during the 500 Sidecar TT. Their teamwork and determination earned them recognition among their peers. The following year, in 1974, Roy Woodhouse joined forces with Dave as they raced a Honda in the 750 Sidecar TT. The duo's synchronized movements and unwavering focus propelled them to new heights. In 1975, Trevor Ireson became Dave's partner for the thrilling event. Together on a Konig bike, they conquered challenges and pushed boundaries during the intense competition of the 1000 Sidecar TT. Continuing his streak of success into 1976, Chas Birks accompanied Dave as they rode a BKS Konig in both the 500cc and later in that same year -the powerful yet demanding-1000cc class at Sidecar TT races. Their performances were nothing short of awe-inspiring. Throughout his career, Ashley Wooller proved to be one of Dave's most trusted teammates. These two individuals demonstrated unparalleled synergy and shared triumph after triumph together.
