The Dalada Maligawa, also known as the Temple of the Tooth, is a sacred place located in Kandy, Ceylon. It holds immense historical and cultural significance for the people of Sri Lanka. Dating back to 1898, a black and white photo captured by Christian Wilhelm Allers showcases the majestic ruins of the Dalada Maligawa in one of Ceylon's ruined cities.
