As Bill Sykes approached, the spectators cowered in the driving rain, seeking shelter from his menacing presence. The natural history board displayed a zoological chart featuring the majestic Tapir, while another depicted its unfortunate fate at the hands of Brazilian Indians. In "Round the World, " we learned about this tragic event.
