Corellas, also known as Little Corellas, are fascinating birds found in various parts of Australia. These intelligent creatures have a distinct appearance with their white plumage and bright blue eye rings. Picture No. 11993362 showcases an adult Little Corella feeding on flowerheads while foraging on the ground in the Northern Territory. In Picture No. 11993361, we see another adult Little Corella quenching its thirst from a leaking tap at a campsite in the same region. These resourceful birds can adapt to different environments and make use of available water sources. The intelligence is further highlighted in Picture No. Where an adult is seen collecting a stick from the ground. This behavior demonstrates their ability to utilize tools for various purposes. Sometimes they can be spotted alongside other bird species, such as Galahs, as depicted in the picture taken at Aputula Aboriginal Community in Finke, Northern Territory. Another type of corella captured beautifully is the Long-billed Corella shown perched on a tree branch and calling out on Phillip Island, Victoria. Its elongated bill adds to its unique features. The stunning landscapes of Western Australia serve as backdrops for several pictures featuring Little Corellas. In Cape Range National Park within Ningaloo Reef Marine Park (Western Australia), these birds are seen stretching their wings on rocks or sitting together on bushes by the beach (Picture No. s 11993362 and 11993363). Lastly, we have the Western Corella inhabiting tree-lined watercourses and adjacent plains around Joondalup Park in Perth (Western Australia). They form large flocks that feed on the ground but gather in trees to strip leaves and roost using their long bills to dig for roots and corms.
