Law Conveyances are the legal process of transferring ownership of a property or land from one person to another. In English law, conveyancing is an important part of the legal process when buying or selling a property. It involves both parties agreeing on the terms and conditions of the transaction, including any mortgages, liens, and other encumbrances that may be attached to the property. The conveyancer will then draw up all necessary documents and ensure that they are properly executed in accordance with English law. Once all documents have been signed by both parties, they must be registered with HM Land Registry in order for them to take effect. This registration process ensures that there is a clear record of who owns what and can prevent disputes from arising in future. Conveyancing also covers other matters such as boundary disputes between neighbours and rights-of-way over land owned by someone else.
