In another scene captured from La Joueur de Viole at Opera Comique Paris (1926), French tenor Toussaint Mocker portrayed Chevalier with such passion that it was impossible not to be moved by his performance. Across continents in New York's Belmont Theatre (1926), "The Student Prince of Denmark" scene from Americana unfolded before our eyes.
