Brian Steenson, the Irish ace, was a force to be reckoned with on the TT circuit in the late 1960s and early 1970s. His speed and precision earned him well-deserved recognition among his competitors. The following year, in 1969, Steenson switched to a Seeley Matchless for the Senior TT. Once again, he proved himself as a formidable contender by securing an impressive finish in this prestigious race. Steenson's success continued into 1970 when he joined BSA for the Production TT. Alongside teammate Malcolm Uphill, he displayed remarkable teamwork and skill as they led their team to victory. Not one to rest on his laurels, Steenson also competed in multiple races during that same year's Junior TT. This time riding a Seeley bike, he demonstrated unwavering determination and resilience throughout each lap of this challenging course. Steenson's passion for racing was evident as he returned once more for the Senior TT in 1970. Riding another Seeley Matchless motorcycle, he pushed himself to new limits while thrilling spectators with his daring maneuvers.
