Brachiosauridae: A Family of Giants in the Dinosaur World 🦕 a family of sauropod dinosaurs known for their long necks and massive bodies. With necks reaching up to 11 meters in length, these herbivores could graze on tree tops that other sauropods couldn't reach. Brachiosaurids, such as Brachiosaurus and Giraffatitan, weighed up to 80 tons and could grow over 30 meters long. Their powerful hind limbs allowed them to walk on all fours, while their front limbs were used for balance and support. Fossil records suggest that brachiosaurids roamed the Earth from the Late Jurassic to the Early Cretaceous periods, around 155 to 100 million years ago. These gentle giants are a testament to the incredible diversity and size that the dinosaur world once held.
