Bill Nicholson talks tactics

Tactics talk between Tottenham Hostspur manager Bill Nicholson (left) and captain Danny Blanchflower during a training session at Cheshunt, Hertfordshire. Spurs are aiming for the league and cup double. 23/10/04: Tottenham's legendary manager Nicholson has died, aged 85, after a long illness. Nicholson, who led Spurs to their double-winning triumph in 1961, passed away peacefully at a Hertfordshire hospital early Saturday October 23 2004. Nicholson also guided Spurs to become the first British club to win a European trophy when they landed the Cup Winners' Cup in 1963.

Entertainment - Pipesmokers' Council Challenge - Jimmy Greaves - London

Pipe-smoking actress Tracey Childs joins fellow pipe fans (l-r) TV sports presenter Jimmy Greaves, actor Tony Anholt and property entrepreneur "Bungalow" Bill Wiggins in London's Covent Gardens. They are launching The Pipesmokers' Council's "Give It A Go" challenge for 1988. Along with Pipesmoker of the Year Ian Botham, the team will aim to dispel the old armchair and slippers image of pipe smoking by participating in unusual events such as sheep shearing, winch grinding and scurry driving.
