Barbershop in Central London - Mayfair. G F Trumper & Sons. An elaborate belt-driven machinery above the mirror drives a head massaging brush. Established 1875. Matchless range of gentleman's fragrances and grooming products. Still at the same location today and still has the massaging brushes - in use today! Their own preparations bear a famous cap in the shape of a crown - visible in the cabinets above the sink counter

Anne Boleyn, Queen of England, second wife to Henry VIII 1501-1536. Depicted as she appeared in France with Mary Tudor. She wears a gable hood chaperon with hanging tail, low-cut bodice, velvet surtout trimmed with ermine, and gold embroidered petticoat. Handcoloured copperplate engraving by Georges Jacques Gatine after an illustration by Louis Marie Lante from Galerie Francaise de Femmes Celebres, Paris, 1827. Date:
