Augustus Frederick, also known as Prince Augustus Frederick, Duke of Sussex, was a member of the British royal family and the sixth son of King George III. Born in 1773, he was known for his liberal views and support for social reform. Despite being a prince, Augustus Frederick often clashed with his family over political issues and lived a more independent lifestyle.
