"Arming through the Ages: From Hunters to Volunteers" In prehistory, during the Paleolithic era, hunters honed their survival skills by manufacturing weapons. The craftsmanship of these early tools laid the foundation for future advancements in weaponry. Fast forward to the Middle Ages, where bombards became a prominent feature on battlefields. Engravings by Serra capture the awe-inspiring power and intricacy of these medieval cannons. The art continued to evolve with the introduction of crossbows. A 14th-century codex inspired Serra's engravings, showcasing skilled crossbowmen ready for combat. Roman ingenuity is evident in their weapon known as an onager. An engraving from Museo Militar in 1883 depicts this formidable war machine used during ancient battles. Jumping ahead to more recent history, we witness Spain's tumultuous Spanish Civil War (1936-1939). Gunshots echo across Malaga as soldiers fight for their cause. Amidst this chaos, a call for production rings out - "Producid. " - urging workers to contribute towards the war effort. Industria De Pau? Guerra Peace becomes a rallying cry amidst conflict. Armored vehicles become essential assets during this time, providing protection and mobility on treacherous battlegrounds. Camarada. Trabaja. Encourages comrades to work together towards victory. As tensions rise and volunteers step up to serve their country, individuals like myself find purpose in joining the fight against oppression during times of turmoil. Me As A Volunteer I Do What I can echoes throughout our ranks. From prehistoric hunters crafting weapons for survival to modern-day volunteers fighting for peace or war-torn countries like Spain experienced; arming has always been an integral part of human history – shaping civilizations and defining eras through its evolution over time.
