"20th January 2018: A Day of Thrilling Races and Classic Cars" On this exhilarating day, the CM22 2382 Mark Kelly and Andy Baker showcased their skills behind the wheel of a Ford Escort Mk2, leaving spectators in awe. They were closely followed by the talented duo CM22 1573 Tom Blackwood and Gordon Winning, also driving a Ford Escort Mk2. Meanwhile, the crowd cheered as CM22 1587 Roland Brown and Terry Luckings maneuvered their way through the track with precision in their Ford Escort Mk1. The excitement continued with CM22 1571 Dane Walker and Dave Boyes displaying their expertise in another Ford Escort Mk2. The competition heated up as CM22 1743 Dave Jennings and Lorraine Nixon took on the challenge in yet another Ford Escort Mk2. Their determination was evident throughout each lap they conquered. Not to be outdone, they returned later for another thrilling race alongside Aaron Rix and Rob Cook in a powerful Ford Ka (CM22 1758). Adding variety to an already action-packed day, Mark Annison and Ian Humphrey wowed everyone with their performance in a sleek Ford Puma (CM22 1777). The roar of its engine echoed through the air as they sped past fellow competitors. Classic car enthusiasts were treated to more nostalgia when Vincent Bristow and Tim Sayer graced the track with two stunning Ford Escort Mexico Mk1s (CM22 2003 & CM22 2341). These iconic vehicles effortlessly glided across every turn. Not forgetting about modern classics, Ben Dawson and Mike Dawson displayed exceptional teamwork while navigating a challenging course in their reliable Ford Escort Mk2 (CM22 2005). Lastly but certainly not least, Kevin Jones and Alistair Oxley brought elegance to this adrenaline-fueled event by showcasing their Ferrari 308 Michelotto Gr4 (CM22 2017).
