A fossil skull that once belonged to Huayangosaurus, a dinosaur from the infraorder Stegosauria. This specimen was discovered in Sichuan, China in 1982. It dates back to the Middle Jurassic, around 170 mya. Date:

Len Murray (Lionel Murray, Baron Murray of Epping Forest, 1922-2004), British Labour politician and trade union leader. Seen here in front of a TUC display, Campaign Against Tebbit's Law, referring to Norman Tebbit, Conservative politician and Employment Secretary, whose Employment Act was passed, despite opposition, in 1982, drastically limiting the powers of the unions. A poster with the words 'Every law has its place in history' shows a printed copy of the law going into a dustbin (lower right-hand corner).

Photograph of Andrew Sandham (1890-1982), the Surrey and England batsman, batting in the practice nets, during the 1924 season. Sandham scored 107 first-class centuries at average of 44.82 during a career that stretched from 1911 to 1938.
