"1492: A Journey of Discovery and Conquest" In the quaint town of Lorgues, a small community nestled in the heart of France, an unlikely tale began to unfold. As Elizabeth Woodville meticulously studied her Caribbean map, she couldn't help but wonder about the uncharted territories that lay beyond its edges. As Columbus left shore behind him, setting off into unknown waters aboard his ship Santa Maria alongside Pinzon of Pinta from Lorgues and Marchena Works crew members from Spain. Upon their return to Europe after months at sea battling storms and uncertainty Pope Alexander VI rewarded Columbus for his remarkable achievement. Yet amidst all these triumphs emerged tales such as "The Moor's Last Sigh, " which spoke volumes about loss and longing for what once was. It reminded us all that every story has multiple perspectives worth exploring. In 1492, boundaries were shattered both physically and metaphorically as explorers dared to dream beyond what seemed possible.
